(CO) CBOL 2017: Advancing the Practice of Personalized Learning
February 23, 2017 - February 24, 2017
The event will bring education leaders nationwide. Together, they will explore hot topics in personalized and blended learning and meet with EdTech companies that provide related, adaptive technology.
Highlighted topics may include answers to questions such as:
What does personalized learning mean? What role does project- and inquiry-based learning play?
How do you ensure that a personalized learning model results in students learning what is required for state and common core standards?
What does data-driven instruction look like in a classroom dominated by personalized, project- and inquiry-based learning approaches?
What should teacher evaluation look like in a personalized, project- or inquiry-based learning environment and how does that influence needed professional development?
How can technology enable personalized, student-centered learning?
What strategies can school leaders use to successfully manage the change associated with new learning models?
The overall program will include a diverse array of presenters and perspectives, allowing us to pool our collective wisdom and knowledge to support one of the largest change management efforts in education. As such, we are seeking to bridge the gap between theory and practice by providing attendees hands-on learning solutions, ideas, and practices to immediately implement in their classroom, school, and district.
