Mike Van Beek: Michigan Right-to-Work is ‘Huge’

On December 11, 2012, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder signed a bill to make the payment of union dues voluntary in his state for private-sector unions and most public-sector unions including public school teachers, although police and firefighters were exempt.

Michael Van Beek is the Director of Education Policy for the Michigan-based Mackinac Center for Public Policy.
