NY Gov Questions Public Release of Evals

ALBANY — In his strongest comments yet against making teacher evaluations available broadly to the public, Gov. Cuomo called such a move a “knee jerk” reaction.

Cuomo is in talks with state lawmakers about possibly limiting release of the grading system’s findings — an alternative supported by teachers but opposed by Mayor Bloomberg and many education reform advocates.
