San Antonio Super Resigns, Keeps Salary

Beleaguered San Antonio Independent School District Superintendent Robert Durón announced Monday night that he will resign from his post, ending months of speculation that he would not stay until the end of his contract in June 2013.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the parents and students of this community,” Durón said in a statement read at an SAISD board meeting.
