Madison - Assembly Republicans refused to take up a bill that would prevent the state's voucher schools program from eventually expanding to Green Bay and other cities.
Last year, Republicans who control the Legislature included in the state budget a provision that brought Milwaukee's voucher schools program to Racine immediately and eventually would establish it in other cities.
